THE ALPHAS
The Alphas is a long-form photographic portrait series celebrating the individuality and spirit of Generation Alpha—children born between 2010 and 2024. Each generation has its own unique identity, shaped by the world they grow up in, and The Alphas aims to explore what defines this one.
Through simple, unfiltered portraits, this project seeks to create a visual record of who these kids are—not just how they look, but how they express themselves, how they want to be seen, and what their generation might tell us about the future.
Each session is child-led, ensuring that every participant feels comfortable, engaged, and excited to be part of it. Kids are encouraged to dress however they feel best—whether that means their favorite hoodie, mismatched socks, or a full-blown costume. The goal is to embrace their unique personalities and let them shine through the images.
By documenting Gen Alpha in this way, The Alphas hopes to offer insight into how they see themselves and the world around them.
Sessions are relaxed, usually lasting under an hour, with a mix of group and individual portraits shot on traditional film cameras.

If your child is interested in being part of the project, I’d love to hear from you! Their enthusiasm and willingness to participate is the most important part to me.
Sessions take place in my home garage studio in Seaford, Victoria.
